Betty Carol Milton, 74, of Dinwiddie, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021. Born on April 14, 1946, she was the daughter of the late John W. and Fannie Sue Wade Traylor, and was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert A. Milton.
Betty was a 1964 graduate of Thomas Dale High School and worked for 32 years at the U.S. Post Office in Richmond.
She is survived by her daughters, Austina Gwen Lewis (David), Melissa Milton and Lawanda Milton; grandchildren, Justin Milton, Amanda Davis, Carolann Milton, David Lewis Jr., Erick Milton, Jacob Milton, Jason Milton and Donovan Milton; 10 great-grandchildren; aunt, Minnie Orrell; the Wells family and other family members.
“I leave my girls to go be with their dad, know I’ll miss you so much, but I’ll be with the man I have loved since I was 15 years old. Sad to leave but happy to see my Robert again.”
A graveside service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, January 21, 2021 in Sunset Memorial Park, 2901 W. Hundred Road, Chester, Virginia 23834. Her remains will rest on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834. Condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com .
