Betty Pearson

Betty Jo Pearson, 82, of Colonial Heights, passed away Sunday, September 9, 2018. She was born to the late Ray and Opal Cullom on June 27, 1936. She was the owner of Betty's House of Beauty, and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Betty is survived by her husband of 62 years, Louis L. Pearson; daughter, Laura P. Blackmon (Marty) of Colonial Heights; son, Phillip R. Pearson (Karen) of North Carolina; grandchildren, Christin Cimburke (Joey), James "Jake" Reid (Toni), Nathan Pearson (Jessica), Danielle Pearson, Lydia Pearson, and Maggie Pearson; great-grandkids, Haleigh Reid, Will Cimburke, Nolan Reid, Morgan Blackmon, Mason Pearson, Hayden Pearson, and Kylee Bayless; sister, Patricia Baker (Braxton); and lots of nieces and nephews who she loved dearly A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Calvary Baptist Church, 17001 Jefferson Davis Highway, S. Chesterfield, Virginia 23834 with the Reverend Dr. Ray Haskett officiating. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park, Chester. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at Calvary Baptist Church. Arrangements by the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E.
