Betty Siegle

Betty Jacqueline Siegle, 81, of Petersburg, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2021. Born in Virginia on March 28, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Henry A. Lamm and Lillian Gill Lewis. She was preceded in death by her son, Melvin R. Daniels, Jr.

Betty retired as a machine operator at Solar Optical in Colonial Heights, Virginia. Betty is survived by her loving children, Russell Daniels, Betty Papallo, Keith Daniels, Todd Daniels (Jan), and Denise Daniels; daughter-in-law, Miho Daniels; grandchildren, Stephanie Papallo, Buck Campbell, Janice Payne, Mackenzie Daniels, T.J. Daniels, Brandon Daniels, and Aya Daniels; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Kirkland, Muriel Winters, and Peggy Avery; a brother, Gerald Lamm; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 6, 2021, at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834, with Pastor Joe Carson officiating. Interment will follow in Blandford Cemetery, 319 S. Crater Road, Petersburg, Virginia 23803. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 5, 2021, at the funeral home.
