Betty Wrenn

Betty Lou Wrenn, 81, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Friday, May 25, 2012 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late John E. Corprew Sr. and Hilda Boyce Corprew. Mrs. Wrenn was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Colonial Heights, and was employed as the Activity Assistant at the Colonial Heights Health Care Center for many years. She is survived by her husband, Arnold Jackson Wrenn; her children, Theresa H. Smith of Colonial Heights, John David Henderson of Roanoke, Mickey Lee Thomas of Chester, Sandra K. Peters of Manassas, Jackie C. Wrenn of Alabama, Deborah Sue Neal of West Virginia, Michael D. Wrenn of Florida; twelve grandchildren; fifteen great-great-grandchildren; a brother, John E. Corprew Jr. of Roanoke; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 30, 2012 in Calvary Baptist Church, 17001 Jefferson Davis Highway, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834 with the Reverend Ray Haskett officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Calvary Baptist Church, Mission Fund.
