Beulah Chaplin

Beulah Smith Chaplin, 88, of Petersburg passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2014 at St. Mary's Hospital, Richmond. She was the daughter of the late Floyd and Ola Terry Smith, and was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph F. Chaplin. She is survived by a son, Wayne F. Chaplin of North Chesterfield; a grandson, Cory W. Chaplin of Chesterfield; a granddaughter, Kim Jarrett of Waynesboro, Virginia; two great granddaughters; four brothers, Carl Smith of Colonial Heights, Charles Smith of Chesterfield, James Smith of Selma, Virginia and Herman Smith of North Carolina; numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 17, 2014 at the Petersburg Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 3935 S. Crater Road. Burial will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home.
