Beulah Grammer

Beulah Mae Grammer, 82, of Chester passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2017. Born April 7, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Tandy and Laura Hunter, and was also preceded in death by her husband, David E. Grammer; and her twelve siblings. Beulah was a member of Ivey Memorial United Methodist Church. She is survived by her daughter, M. Elaine Blackmon and husband, Jack; sons, David L. Grammer and wife, Brenda, Bruce D. Grammer and wife, Carol, Rick Spencer Grammer; nine grandchildren, Shane Blackmon, Heather Miller, Lydia Eve Klinger, Matthew Grammer, Chase Grammer, Wade Grammer, Lindsay Grammer, James Cooley, Jonathan Davis; nine great-grandchildren, Jeremy, Dillon, Jack and Hunter, Jon, Julia, McKenzie, Lena, Connor; step-daughter, Carol Martin and husband, Ricky, and their children, Ricky and Amanda; brother-in-law, George Grammer; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, with the Reverend Jim Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester. The family will receive friends Wednesday, night, March 8, 2017 from 7:00 p.m.-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com.
