Beulah Elizabeth Moline, 87, of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, passed away on Friday, March 28, 2014 in Petersburg, Virginia. Born in Halifax, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Dirvard L. and Lottie Lee Nethery Adkins. Beulah was preceded in death by her first husband, Walter R. Smith in 1967 and second husband, Donald G. Wenban in 1986; brother, Willard Freeman Adkins; sisters, Mary Louise Winn-Lister and Annie Maxine Gohn Allen. Beulah was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina and former member of Bethel Baptist Church in South Haven, Michigan, and the Salvation Army. She was an animal lover and enjoyed crafts, knitting, crocheting, traveling and being with her family and friends. Beulah is survived by her husband, Floyd A. Moline whom she married on April 15, 1989. Survivors also include her son, Leslie Q. Adkins and wife, Anne of Holland, Michigan; three grandchildren, Leslie R. Ankersen and wife, Cheryl of Grand Haven, Michigan, Kelly A. Omness and husband, Damian of Shelby Michigan, Quinton L. Adkins and wife, Lisa of Holland, Michigan; eight great-grandchildren, Joshua, Eric, Samuel and Elizabeth Ankersen, Isabel, Cael, and Mia Omness, and Mason Adkins; nephews, James Davis of Auburn, Indiana, Charles H. Gohn Jr. and wife, Robin on Oak Harbor, Washington, Steven W. Gohn and wife, Pamela of Williamsburg, Virginia, Thomas G. Beasley of Indiana; and brother-in-law, Wayne Lister of Roanoke Rapids. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 1, 2014 in the Petersburg Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 3935 S. Crater Road with Major Pete Costas officiating. Interment will follow at Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. The family will receive friends from 12 to 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
