Beverly Vinson

Beverly Gibbs Vinson, 79, of Chesterfield, took the hand of her precious Lord and was lead home to be with her parents and brothers, on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at Southside Regional Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Thad and June Humphries Gibbs, and the widow of Curtis W. Vinson, who passed away July 17, 2015. Mrs. Vinson was a retired Personnel Clerk for Brown & Williamson Tobacco Company. She is survived by her children, daughters Linda Ann Moore and husband, Bill of Chesterfield and Vicki L. Taylor of Colonial Heights; son, Ricky L. Taylor and wife, Dawn of Chester; grandchildren, Thomas, Samantha Fleek and husband, Wesley, Casey Sember and husband, Tristan and Autumn, Garret; great grandchildren, Gracie, Christian and Patrick; and a special friend from childhood, Teresa Hicks. A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 25, 2015 at City Point National Cemetery, 10th Ave & Davis Street, Hopewell, VA 23860.
