Bill Allen

Bill Allen, 64, of Prince George, passed away on Friday, April 23, 2010 at Southside Regional Medical Center. He was the son of the late Buffalo Bill and Annie Richmond Allen, and was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Ellen Allen, and a son, Ricky Alan Dressler Mr. Allen was a United States Army veteran, and a retired Operator with Allied Chemical. He is survived by his sons, Hamilton A. (Chuck) Dressler of Charles City Co., Robert Keith Dressler and wife, Joanne of Colonial Heights, and Tony Lee Dressler Charles City Co.; sisters, Peggy Bass of Concord, North Carolina, Bobby Comer of Petersburg, Janet Norris of Amelia, and Sallie Smith of Beaver, West Virginia; a brother, Jim Allen of Coal City, West Virginia; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at Bills' residence. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4240 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, Virginia 23058. Arrangements by the Petersburg Chapel of the E.
