Billy Short

Billy W. Short, 67, of Prince George, passed away on Friday, June 10, 2016 at his residence. Born in Pound, Virginia, he was the son of the late Zemory and Josephine Maggard Short, and was preceded in death by his son, James Robert Short. He is survived by his loving wife, Altheah R. Short; son, Michael D. Short; daughter, Stacy Curtis; grandson, Ryan D. Curtis; granddaughter, Chloe C. Short, all of Prince George, Virginia; a brother, James Douglas Short and wife, Debra of Manasass, Virginia; sisters, Carrie S. Corbin and husband, Charles of Kernersville, North Carolina, and Brenda L. Robinson and husband, Leeman of Kingsport, Tennessee; with numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday June 16, 2016 at the Crater Road Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 3935 S. Crater Rd, Petersburg, Virginia 23805.
