Billy Spivey

Billy Ray Spivey, 88, of S. Prince George left his Earth to be with his beloved wife on Sunday, June 19, 2022. Born August 27, 1933, he was the son of the late Vellie and Carrlie Spivey and was also preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Johnson Spivey; son, Timothy R. Spivey; five brothers and two sisters.

After 22 years of dedicated service to his country, Billy retired from the United States Army, and he was a member of the American Legion Post 284. Billy loved watching NASCAR and enjoyed woodworking.

Billy is survived by his son, Gary S. Spivey; grandson, Michael Spivey and other extended family members.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 24, 2022 in Southlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday night, June 23, 2022 at the Crater Road Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 3935 S.
