Bobby Mccormick

Bobby Hilton McCormick, 79, of Dinwiddie passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016 at his residence. He was born April 6, 1937 in South Carolina to the late James Hilton and Laura Dean McCormick. Mr. McCormick retired after many years of service from the Progress Index as a Newspaper Carrier, and he also had a love for antique cars. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Lewis McCormick; a son, Terry Hilton McCormick (Carolyn) of Dinwiddie; a daughter, Sharon McCormick of Dinwiddie; grandchildren, Shannon Williams (Travis), Robert Cox (Kristine), Ashley Bookman (Braxton), Timmy Cox (Amy); five great granddaughters; three great grandsons; three brothers, William McCormick, John McCormick (Patricia), Kenny McCormick; three sisters, Jerry Mae Bowe (David), Bettie Norfleet (Abe), Irene Grant (Russell); and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 in the Crater Road Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 3935 S. Crater Road Petersburg, Virginia 23805, with the Reverend Tammy Hayes officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, S. Prince George, Virginia.
