Bradley Spivey Jr.

Bradley V. Spivey Jr., 91, of Dinwiddie, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at Southside Regional Medical Center. He was the son of the late Bradley V. Spivey Sr. and Minnie Hancock Spivey. Mr. Spivey was preceded in death by his former wife, Wanda T. Spivey; two sisters, Mary S. Herrman and Vivian Spivey; brother, Joseph Spivey; and two brothers-in-law, Bob Herrman and Tommy Thompson. He was a United States Navy veteran, and a retired Pharmacist. He is survived by his children, Bradley V. Spivey III of Richmond, Eric Watt Spivey and wife, Gail of New Hampshire, T. Scott Spivey of Georgia, and Eda Spivey Price and husband, Don of Richmond; granddaughters, Patricia and Olivia Price of Richmond; a sister, Evelyn Alford and husband, Jerry of South Carolina; and a niece, Debbie Garter and husband, A.G. of Colonial Heights. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 20, 2014 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend David Prather officiating. Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday in the Waverly Cemetery, Waverly, Virginia.
