Brian Davis

Brian Davis, 54, of Hopewell, VA, passed away unexpectedly on January 21, 2025, his birthday. He was born January 21, 1971 in Hopewell, VA to Clyde and Barbara Davis. Brian dedicated many years of his life as an HVAC and Refrigeration Technician, demonstrating remarkable skill and passion for his work. He had an unwavering love for computers, gaming, and working on anything electronic, reflecting his inquisitive and hands-on nature. Brian also loved taking care of the local neighborhood cats, taking in several, making sure they had a heated bed and food/water in his shed. 

Although Brian is gone, he will live in our hearts forever.

He is survived by his wife of 20+ years, Sandra; stepdaughters, Tara and Katie; seven step grandchildren; one step great-grandson; mother, Barbara Bevins; twin sister, Debbie Fowler (Will); brother, Timothy Davis (Amy); and several nieces and nephews.

Brian was preceded in death by his brother, Rick Carl Davis in 2001; his granny, Bette Gulledge, who he adored in 2004; his father, Clyde Davis in 2016; his soul kitties, Smoky, Skittles, and Peaches, who was his dad’s cat.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at 103 Stonewall Ave, Hopewell, VA 23860. Arrangements are by the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory.
