Brian Keith Harper, 66, of Chester passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2023. Born June 10, 1957, he was the son of the late Thomas Emmett and Hazel Cooke Harper. Keith was joyfully reunited with his beloved fur babies and fur grandbaby, Layla, Holly, Ralph, Muffin and Cash.
For over two decades, he served as a Purchasing and Warehouse Manager at Tindall Corporation, leaving a lasting mark of dedication. Before that chapter of his life, he spent over 25 years at Vulcan Materials as a warehouse supervisor, laying the foundation for his extraordinary career.
Beyond his professional achievements, Keith found solace and joy on the water. His love for boating brought him endless happiness on Buggs Island and Lake Gaston. Keith found his slice of paradise and shared the laughter of countless moments while driving on the beaches of the Outer Banks, surrounded by his cherished family and friends.
Keith is survived by his loving wife of 43 wonderful years, Jeanne Harper; beloved daughter, Sara Harper Olsen and husband, Jared; two sisters, Kathy Kellam and husband, Lloyd, Kim Harper; fur grandbaby, June; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and many cherished friends.
A celebration of Keith's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 25, 2023 in Chester United Methodist Church, 12132 Percival Street, Chester, Virginia 23831. In lieu of flowers, please make a memorial contribution in Keith’s name to your favorite animal rescue. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
