Calvin Brewer

Calvin Brewer 86, of Dinwiddie, passed away Thursday, July 5, 2018, at Southside Regional Medical Center. He was born November 27, 1931, in Oklahoma to the late Arthur and Leona Hill Brewer and was preceded in death by three sisters. Calvin retired after 37 years as a supervisor from Brenco and was a member of Meadow Bank Hunt Club in Dewitt, Virginia. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lenn Brewer; son Ronnie Brewer and wife, Stephanie; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Betty and Joe Moore, numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 10, 2018, in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George, Virginia with the Reverend David Prather officiating. The family will receive friends Monday, July 9, 2018, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Crater Road Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 3935 S. Crater Road Petersburg, Virginia 23805.
