Carl Driskill Sr.

Carl Grant Driskill Sr., 78, of Matoaca, passed away July 8, 2011 at his residence. He was the son of the late Stewart Phillip and Virginia Rebecca English Driskill; he was also preceded in death by his wife Octavia Elizabeth Driskill. Mr. Driskill was the owner and operator of Rountree Automotive Group in Petersburg. He is survived by a daughter, Tamara Driskill Francis, and her husband, Floyd of Chester; two sons, Carl Grant Driskill, Jr., and his wife, Stacy, Daniel L. Driskill and wife Jessica of Matoaca; brother Stewart Phillip Driskill Jr., of Chesterfield, two sisters Joyce Harrison of Matoaca, Rose Harmon of Prince George, four grandchildren, Patricia Blair Francis Mott of Richmond , Carl Grant Driskill III, Tiffany Lynn Driskill, Elizabeth Virginia Driskill all of Matoaca, one great granddaughter Hadley Elizabeth Grayce Mott of Richmond. A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday July 12, 2011 in Immanuel Baptist Church, 620 Lafayette Ave., Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834 with the Reverend Fred Adkins and the Reverend Jim Burton officiating. Interment to follow in Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg. The family will receive friends Monday July 11, 2011 from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
