Carl Kelly

Carl C. Kelly, 94, of Colonial Heights, VA went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 24, 2015. Born on March 19, 1921 in Middlesboro, KY he was the son of the late, James Amos and Cordie Wilson Kelly. He married his wife, Betty Jean Osborne Kelly, on August 7, 1945 and they spent 70 wonderful years together until his passing. Carl served in the United States Army and retired from the military in January 1976. He was placed into the Quartermaster Hall of Fame and was appointed a member of the Quartermaster General's Honorary Regiment. He graduated from St. Leo University in St. Leo Florida. He is also survived by his dear friends, Joyce and William "Bill" Chavis who will miss him very much. He and his wife Betty moved to the Dunlop House in Colonial Heights, VA in January 2009 to live their final days. This is where you live with no responsibility other than to enjoy life to its fullest. Per Carl's wishes there will be no service. The family is being served by E.
