Carl Stein

Carl James Stein 78, of Colonial Heights, died Saturday February 14, 2009 at Sitter and Barfoot Veterans Center in Richmond, Virginia. He was the son of the late Carl Joseph and Jane Stein. Mr. Stein was a retired Staff Sergeant with the United States Army retiring after 25 years of service. He was a member of St. Ann Catholic church in Colonial Heights, and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Mr. Stein is survived by his wife Betty Ann Stein, two sister in-law Wilma Elkins and husband Jimmie, of Colonial Heights, Mary Henshaw and husband Charles of Ettrick, one Brother In law Cecil Ashley and wife Joyce of Colonial Heights, four nephews and two nieces A funeral service will be held Wednesday 11:00 a.m., February 18, 2009, at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 2033 Boulevard, 23834, with Fr. Lou Ruoff officiating. Burial will follow with Military Honors in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George.
