Carol Weis

Carol Faye Whitmore Weis, 62, of Chesterfield, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at John Randolph Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Hoyt Whitmore Sr. and Alma Wheelhouse Whitmore. Carol was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald P. and Claude W. Whitmore. She is survived by her children, Michael Compton, Michelle Nunnally; two grandchildren, Alisa and Austin Nunnally; two brothers, Hoyt Whitmore Jr. and wife, Myrtle and Phillip L. Whitmore and wife, Sandy; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; two special friends, Martha Bivins and George Shifflett. A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 27, 2009 in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George with Dr. Bill Damon officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
