Carolyn Jones

Carolyn Roe "Bunny" Jones, 55, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Friday, July 26, 2013 at her residence. Born in Tokyo, Japan, she was preceded in death by her father, Carl Madison Roe, brothers, Eddie and Gene Roe; and step-father, Francis (Dix) Howell. Mrs. Jones was a former Administrative Support employee for Altria. She is survived by her husband, Michael C. Jones Sr.; a son, Michael C. Jones Jr.; a daughter, Heather J. Holland and husband, Brandon; grandchildren, Shane Lehman Jr., Jacob Holland, and Lacey Jones; her mother, Helen R. Howell all of Colonial Heights; four sisters, Brenda Meade and husband, Charlie of Chester, Linda Bryant and husband, Robert of Chester, Sandy Smith of Virginia Beach, and Teresa Witte and husband, Chris of Mechanicsville; two step-brothers, Mac and Steve Howell. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2013 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend Ray Haskett officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
