Carolyn Martin

Carolyn Edwards Martin, 71, of Chester, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, August 28, 2012. She was the widow of Cleveland M. Martin Sr., and the daughter of the late Loy Elmore Edwards. Mrs. Martin is survived by her mother, Fannie Edwards; sons, Bruce Hartsell and Wade Martin; and a daughter Holly Satterfield all of Chester; four grandchildren, Kristin Sharp, Amber Martin, Campbell Martin, and Brandon Satterfield; four great-grandchildren; and her lifetime friend, Casey Smith. A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 31, 2012 in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester. The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. Thursday at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
