Catherine Jones

Catherine L. Jones, 85, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Monday, August 17, 2015 at her residence. She was born on December 17, 1929 in Surry County, Virginia to the late Clifton H. Logan and Ida Mae Tench Logan, and was the widow of Lonnie J. Jones. Mrs. Jones grew up on Grove Avenue in Petersburg, and retired from Titmus Optical Company. She is survived by her daughter Bonnie J. Noon and husband, Floyd of Petersburg; six sisters, Mabel Harpole, Joyce Burnett, Charlotte Conrader, Carolyn Powers and Brenda Wojcik; a brother, Wayne Logan; granddaughter, Stacey; two great-grandchildren, Kaitland and Sydney; and her personal chauffer, Gregory Wojcik. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 20, 2015 in Southlawn Memorial Park, 1911 Birdsong Road, S. Prince George, Virginia 23805 with the Reverend Robert Livesay officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at the home of Mrs. Jones, 102 Seaton Drive, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834.
