Catherine Ward

Catherine Edna McNabb Ward, 87, of Colonial Heights, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2012. She was the daughter of the late William W. and Caroline Hauck McKnabb. She was the widow of Richard F. Ward Sr., and was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Cathy Brown Baker. Mrs. Ward is survived by two sons, Richard F. Ward and wife, Eloise of Colonial Heights, and Dennis J. Ward and wife, Wanda of Chester; two daughters, Peggy Ann Brown and husband, James of Matoaca, and Kathy Saxton and husband, Andre of Harrah, Oklahoma; ten grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. Services for Mrs. Ward are private. Arrangements by the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory 2033 Boulevard.
