Cecil Vincent Jones Jr., 59, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2011 at his residence. A native of Emporia, he was the son of the late Jeannette Garriock Jones and Cecil Vincent Jones Sr.. Mr. Jones was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, a former owner of West End Pharmacy in Petersburg, and practiced pharmacy for 30 years. He is survived by his wife, Mary P. Jones; a son, Marshall Vincent Jones of Fairfax; a daughter, Marybeth Jones McConnell and husband, Matthew of Ashburn; four grandchildren, Abigail, Peter, Rosie and Matthew McConnell; a sister, Katie Jones Seymour and husband, Ricky of Emporia; a special mother-in-law, Thora Kelly of Colonial Heights; a niece, Monica Seymour; and a nephew, Wayne Allen. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2011 in Calvary Baptist Church, 17001 Jefferson Davis Highway, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834 with Dr. Ray Haskett officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, March 7, 2011 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E.
