Cederic T. Lewis, 78, of Colonial Heights passed away Monday, April 8, 2013 at his residence. He was the son of the late Alfred Jackson and Helen Edwards Lewis and was preceded in death by two sisters Kathryn Budd, Lucille Lassiter and one brother Sterling Lewis. Mr. Lewis was a United States Air Force veteran, a retired builder in the Tri City area for many years and an avid golfer. He is survived by his wife, Jean Denny Lewis; sisters, Dorothy Stewart of Dinwiddie, Shirley Burton and husband, Richard of Chesapeake, Virginia Savage and husband, Thomas of Suffolk; brother, Franklin Lewis and wife, Mary of Michigan. Graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 11, 2013 in Southlawn Memorial Park Prince George, Virginia with Pastor Ron Newton officiating. The family is being served by the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Home and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
