Charles Archer Sr.

Charles "Pickle" Archer, Sr., of Chesterfield, died Saturday, August 9, 2008 at his residence. Mr. Archer, was the son of the late Charlie and Ina W. Archer, was a retired mechanic for United Parcel Service and was preceded in death by an infant son Charles Craig Archer. Mr. Archer is survived by his devoted wife, Sandra Vaughan Archer; two sons, Charles Archer, Jr. and Richard Poole, Jr.; a daughter, Samantha Furnish and husband Robert; two step-daughters, Jennifer Autry and husband Scott and Pamela Bell-Farrow and husband Andy; seven grandchildren, Nicholas, Chad, & Stephanie Furnish, Ryan & Sarah Autry, Justin Bell, and Brandon Farrow; a sister, Nancy Valenta, and devoted caregivers, Betty Crawley and Missouri Whidbee. A graveside funeral service will take place in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George, at 10:00 am, Tuesday, August 12, 2008. Services arranged by Colonial Heights Chapel of the E.
