Charles Creswell Jr.

Charles E. Creswell Jr., 79, of Chester, passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2009 at Chippenham Medical Center. He was the son of the late Charles E. Creswell Sr. and Ellen Ward Creswell, and was preceded in death by his wife, Audrey C. Creswell. Mr. Creswell was a member of Faith Lutheran Parrish, Prince George. He is survived by a daughter, Bonnie A. Eichler of Richmond; a grandson, Greg Eichler and wife Cyndi of Chestertown, Maryland; two great-grandsons, Cody and Caleb Eichler; a brother, William Creswell and wife, Jackie of Sparks, Maryland; and a sister, Mary Lou Haase of Zellwood, Florida; two nieces, Karen Bowling and husband, J. Timothy of Parkton, Maryland, and Alyce Bridges and husband, Harry of Orlando, Florida. A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 2, 2009 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. Interment will follow in Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
