Charles Daulton Sr.

Charles Edward Daulton Sr., 75, of Church Road, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at CJW Johnston Willis Medical Center. Born in Dinwiddie County, he was the son of the late Charlie Wilson Daulton Sr. and Mary Sue Lewis Daulton. Mr. Daulton was a U. S. Army National Guard Veteran. He was a member of Western Heights Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife; Shirley Ann Daulton and a daughter, Sharon Jean Hardeman. Mr. Daulton is survived by a son: Charles E. "Bodie" Daulton Jr. and wife, Ellen of Sutherland; daughters, Kimberly D. Bostic and husband, Donnie of Church Road, and Judy D. Schmidt and husband, Steve of Sutherland; nine grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren. A brother, Vernon I. Daulton and wife, Edith of Ford, Virginia; three sisters, Doris Jones and husband, Charles of Sutherland, Joyce Christopher and husband, Bobby of Church Road, and Mary Ellen Crenshaw and husband, Wayne of Jarrett, Virginia. A devoted friend, Martha "Molly" Cairnes. A funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Western Heights Baptist Church, 24416 Cox Road, Petersburg, Virginia 23803 with the Reverends Jonathan Dundalow and Robert L. Rowland III officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, South Prince George. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Tuesday at the Crater Road Chapel, of the E.
