Charles Davis

Charles Bernard Davis, 87, of Colonial Heights, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2018. Mr. Davis was born in Wise County, Virginia to the late Joseph and Manilla Davis on March 14, 1931. He was a member of Second Chance Baptist Church, Petersburg and a member of the NRA. He served his country in the United States Air Force and was a retired Teamster truck driver. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Julia G. Davis; daughters, Risa Davis Compton (Mike) of Colonial Heights, and Lori Davis Mollnow (Kurt) of Viera, Florida; grandchildren, Aaron Austin (Laura), Caleb Compton, Jonah Compton, Blake Mollnow, and Addison Mollnow; great-grandchildren, Ayden Austin and Chandler Austin; sisters, Hassie Davis of Kingsport, Tennessee, and Vicey Looney of Springfield, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services to be held at a later date. Arrangements made by the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834.
