Charles W. "Buster" Fick, 86, originally of Colonial Heights and currently of Midlothian, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018. He was born in Petersburg, Virginia to the late Charles and Grace Fick on December 4, 1932, and served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Mr. Fick was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara A. Fick; and nine brothers and sisters. He is survived by his son, William Christian Fick of Richmond; daughter, Kathryn Smith (James) of Disputanta; sisters, Ann Furr of Colonial Heights, Audrey Hughes of Chester, Jean Gibbs of Dinwiddie, and Evelyn Bryant of Jackson, Tennessee; brother, John Fick of Colonial Heights; and granddaughter, Rhonda Kay Pond of Highland Springs. Visitation will be held on Thursday December 20, 2018, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834. A Christian graveside service will be held on Friday, December 21, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Southlawn Memorial Park, South Prince George with the Reverend Jim Burton officiating.
