Charles Grant

Charles "Pete" Grant, 71, of Prince George, passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at his residence. Born in North Carolina, he was the son of the late George G. and Indiana Moore Grant. He is survived by his wife, Joyce E. Grant; three brothers, Russell Grant and wife, Irene of Prince George, Raymond Grant and wife, Betty of Prince George and Robert D. Grant and wife, Mary of Georgia; stepchildren, David Crockell, Billy Crockell, Patricia Ganey, and Mark Crockell; numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 14, 2013 in the Petersburg Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 3935 S. Crater Road with the Reverend Curtis Butterworth officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
