Charles Dennis King, Sr. continued on his journey at 12:05 PM April 1, 2010. Chuck is survived by: his sons, Charles D. King, Jr. and Joshua T. King (Chad & Josh), with his wife of 35 years, their mother, Deborah C. King (Debbie); his daughter Sherri King Bishop, with her husband Lewis and their children, Shaina & Matt; his son Dennis King, with his wife Margaret; his sister Doshie King Powell and her family; his brothers Lewis & Eddie Hazzard, James & Johnnie King, and their families. He was preceded by his parents, Charles Lester & Florence Duffy King, and his brother Jackie. He left an unbelievable legacy of hard work, adventure, and good memories. His influence will be evident forever, and he will be loved and missed even longer.His family will receive visitors at E. Alvin Small Funeral Home in Colonial Heights on Monday, April 5, from 7 to 8:30 PM. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday, April 6, at Chester United Methodist Church. Interment will follow immediately at the King Family Cemetery.
