Charles Mcdaniel Jr.

Charles Lee McDaniel Jr., 62, of Colonial Heights, passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2013. Born in Petersburg, he was the son of the late Charles L. and Clara S. McDaniel. He was a former member of Plumber and Steamfitters Local Union #10. He retired from Philip Morris where he served as a shop steward for I.A.M. Lodge #10. He is survived by his wife, Christine Crump McDaniel; sons, Charles Clifton McDaniel (Shelley Risi) and Christopher Lee McDaniel (Samantha Barnaby); one brother, Michael Carl McDaniel; three granddogs and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in Blandford Cemetery, 319 S. Crater Road, Petersburg, Virginia with the Reverend David Prather officiating. The family will receive friends Friday, March 1, 2013 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
