Charles Page

Charles W. Page, 90, of Colonial Heights, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2015 at The Crossings at Iron Bridge. He was born July 19, 1924 in Appomattox, Virginia to the late Charles Baxter Page and Grace Coleman Page. Mr. Page was a U. S. Army Veteran and served during the Korean War. He was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Colonial Heights and a long standing member of the Colonial Heights Lions Club. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Edith Wood Page; sons, Charles R. Page, and Richard E. Page; daughter, Jeanne Wingo; grandchildren, Ransom Wingo, Ryan Page, Mason Page, Mackenzie Page Van Conon, and Sarah Disbrow, and two great-grandchildren. A funeral service will take place 11:30 a.m. Wednesday January 14, 2015 in Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, 3110 Greenwood Avenue, Colonial Heights, Virginia, 23834, with Reverend Dr. Andy Brockelman officiating. Interment will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday January 15, 2015 in Jeremiah Turner Cemetery, Patrick County Virginia. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a. m. on Wednesday the day of the service at the church.
