Charles Powers

Charles H. Powers III "Chuck", 55, of Prince George, Virginia entered into a peaceful eternal rest on Friday, January 22, 2016. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles H. Powers, Jr. Chuck was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church in Hopewell, Virginia. He was a loving husband, son, father, grandfather and brother. He is survived by his loving wife, Nellie Powers; his mother, Marie Forbes; son, Chase Powers; daughter, Jessica Eubanks; sister, Terri Stoots (Warren); three grandchildren; step-daughter, Kristina Eades (Joe); two nephews; and one niece. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Woodlawn Baptist Church, 3512 Virginia Street, Hopewell, Virginia 23860 with the Reverend Ken Hendricks officiating. Entombment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, South Prince George, Virginia. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at the church.
