Charles Stephens

Charles Campbell Stephens III., 71, of Colonial Heights, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2011. He was the son of the late Charles Campbell Stephens II, and Etta Elizabeth Briggs Stephens. Mr. Stephens was a United States Army Veteran and a retired truck driver. He is survived by his partner of 25 years, Joan "Minnie' Hubbard of Colonial Heights, two sons Jeff and Jack Stephens; brothers, Paul Stephens, Bill Stephens, and a sister Marie Harrington all of Maryland; two grandchildren, numerous step children, step grandchildren, step great-grandchildren, and a special great-grandson Roland Bowles. A memorial service will be held at Mr. Stephens residence at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday July 31, 2011. Interment Private. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Colonial Heights, Chapel of E.
