Charles Wilson

Charles W. Wilson, 80, passed away on April 1, 2022 at his home in Dallas, Georgia.  He was born May 14, 1941 in Danville, VA, the son of Welton (Slim) Wilson and Hazel Shumate (Leet).

After marriage to Brenda Walker (Wilson), he started work at Brown and Williamson Tobacco Company in Petersburg, VA.  Charles became a Glass Installer in VA and Georgia and continued his work as a Cobb County Employee at Lost Mountain Middle School in Georgia.  Charles was a devoted church member in Virginia and Georgia.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughters, Brenda Kay and Wanda Ann and brother James.  Surviving in addition to his wife, Brenda, are his son, Dwayne Wilson and his wife, Cheryl from North Carolina, grandson, Brandon Wilson, sister Jeanie Toth, and brother Otis Wilson.

A service of remembrance will be held at 2:00 pm. on Saturday April 9, 2022 in Southlawn Memorial Park, 1911 Birdsong Road, South Prince George, VA 23805.  Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Colonial Heights Chapel of E.
