Charlotte Bishop

Charlotte Whitchurch Bishop, 86, of Petersburg, passed away on Monday, October 26, 2009 at Memorial Regional Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Richard and Lottie Mumford Whitchurch, and the widow of Lloyd W. Bishop Sr. Mrs. Bishop was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Whitchurch. She is survived by a son, Lloyd W. Bishop Jr. and wife, Cathy of Chesterfield; a daughter, Linda B. Trimmer and husband, Ron of Bumpass; four grandchildren, Will, Phillip, Kristian, and Kelley; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Richard Whitchurch Jr. and wife, Barbara; a sister, Patsy Folsom and husband, Ray. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 2, 2009 in the Petersburg Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 3935 South Crater Road, with the Reverend Barry Ginn officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 pm Thursday, October 29, 2009 at the funeral home in Petersburg.
