Charlotte Dimirack

Charlotte Dimirack, 80, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister departed this life to be with the Lord on January 15, 2021.  She is preceded in death by her parents Sarah Evelyn Hardy, and Howerton Hardy, her brothers Rocky Mosconi and Bobby Hardy. Charlotte is survived by her husband George Dimirack , her two children Buddy Dimirack (Mary) and Lynn Adenauer, her grandchildren Drew, Cara, and Cole Adenauer and Josh Dimirack (Chelsey Herring).  She is also survived by her brothers Billy Hardy (Bonnie) and Eddie Hardy (Denise) and many nieces and nephews. Charlotte was very fortunate and blessed to marry her high school sweetheart George. Together they shared 61 wonderful years in marriage. Charlotte was a busdriver for Colonial Heights for many years and also enjoyed decorating cakes for many people's weddings. She also had a successful AAU Natural bodybuilding career, competing well into her 40's and 50's, winning several contests and even a national title in 1982. She help many people to train in the sport and judged many contests. Charlotte also enjoyed participating in the Momument 10K in Richmond on multiple occasions.  She was also a big fan of Elvis and always had his music playing in her car. She loved the Lord and was a charter member at Second Chance Baptist Church. Her faith was important to her and she loved her church family. She previously was an active member at Immanuel Baptist Church for many years. She had a bible study group that met at her house weekly that was very precious to her. Because of covid-19 being so strong in our area now, we will be having a "Celebration of Life" in the late spring for family and friends to be able to come together for fellowship and remembrance.
