Christal Mccollum

Christal Tatum McCollum of Midlothian formerly of McKenney, was suddenly called to join her Lord and Savior in Heaven on Thursday, November 15, 2012. She was preceded in death by her loving mother, Rosalee Tatum who was there to take her under her wings once again for eternity; her maternal grandparents, David and Mary Hawkins; her paternal grandparents, Robert and Jessie Tatum; and a special aunt, Martha Gooch. Christal is survived by her two children that she adored, Caitlin B. McCollum and, B. Tyler King, both of Midlothian; her loving father, Herbert C. Tatum and friend Terry Davis of both of Hopewell; former husband, Keenan McCollum; special uncle, and aunt, Billy and Rose McCaffity; special uncle, Ronnie Gooch; special aunt, Oma McCaffity; special cousins, Sandy Lyle and Kim Kidwell; numerous other aunts, uncles, and cousins. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 19, 2012 in Colonial Heights Baptist Church, 17201 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23803 with the Reverend Dr. Randall T. Hahn officiating. Interment to follow in Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg, Virginia. The family will receive friends Sunday, November 18, 2012 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 2033 Boulevard.
