Christine Lautenslager

Christine K. Lautenslager, 89, of Colonial Heights, passed away Monday, January 28, 2013 at the Colonial Heights Health Care Center. She was the daughter of the late Joseph E. and Lilly Miles Gettings, and the widow of Eugene S. Lautenslager. Mrs. Lautenslager was a member of the First Baptist Church in Petersburg, Virginia, and the Colonial Heights Senior Citizens Club. She retired from Titmus Optical as a supervisor. Mrs. Lautenslager is survived by a daughter, Barbara L. Evans of Prince George; son, Don S. Lautenslager and wife, Tracy of Midlothian; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 2, 2013 in Southlawn Memorial Park Prince George, Virginia with the Reverend Robert Dawson officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
