Christopher Landrum Siefferman, 50, passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2019. He was born in Petersburg on October 23, 1968. Chris’ faith was broad and diverse, he grew up in the Walnut Hill Baptist Church family, and within the last few years was baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was a life-long musician and played in many bands; singing and playing guitar all over the Virginia tri-cities area, then took his talent, guitar and vocal stylings to share with his many fans all over Florida. He was the lead singer for his band, Section 8, which later became Gufftribe. He is survived by his mother and step-father, Marti Peterson and husband, Bob; his father and step-mother, Richard Siefferman and wife, Vickie; the love of his life, Michele Kimpson; his children, Derrick Gregory and wife, Vanessa, Morgan Knowles and husband, Chris, Brooke Siefferman, and Harper Siefferman; several grandchildren; a sister, Stephanie Gupton and husband, Steven; a brother, Adam Siefferman; aunt, Frances Taylor; numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members and many friends. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, October 11, 2019 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834 with Steve Gupton officiating. Condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com.
