Christy Dawn Rouse

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Christy Rouse, who left this world on February 17th, 2025, at the age of 51. Christy was a very loving, dependable, and nurturing woman, a devoted family member, a cherished friend, an amazing mother, and the best Gigi. 

Born on April 6, 1973, Christy lived a life of laughter and love with her family and friends. She was known for her generous heart, she would give you the shirt off her back and expect nothing in return, and just tell the truth, even if it hurt. She was truly dedicated to those she cared about and poured into them. She was extremely intelligent and so beautiful; her smile was contagious. She made an unforgettable impact on the world around her. 

Christy’s memory will live on in the hearts of her mother, Shirley Kelleher; daughter, Chesleigh Rouse; Granddaughter, Ellianna Rouse; Sister, Lorrie McClung; Brothers, Rick Emmert and Ryan Kelleher; Nieces, Caitlynn Rouse and Rhiannon Emmert; Nephews, Patrick McClung and Jacob Emmert, Kingston and Trenton Kelleher; and Grand-nieces and nephews, Patrick McClung Jr., Teagan Brooks, and Lucas Rouse. 

A celebration of life will be held on her birthday, Sunday, April 6th, 2025. While we are still gathering details as to where and what time, we will notify all who are welcome to come.

My mom always said I, her daughter, was her angel, and now she is mine.
