Claiborne Randolph "Randy" Stevens Jr., 60, of Chesterfield, passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at his residence. He was born September 11, 1954 in Petersburg Virginia, and was preceded in death by his father Claiborne Randolph Stevens Sr., and a daughter Lucy. Randy retired after 32 years of service from Honeywell as a Chemical Operator/Area Trainer and was currently employed at Virginia Logo's; he was also a member of the Colonial Heights Optimists Club. He loved to fish and loved his grandchildren very much. Randy is survived by his wife Debbie E. Stevens, son Matthew Stevens and fiancée Rachel Davis, and brother Sean "Bub" Davis, daughter Heather Sowards and husband Joe, grandchildren Austin and Halie Sowards, mother June C. Stevens, brother; Glenn Stevens and wife Lori, two nieces Michaela, and Shelby. A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 1, 2014 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend George Mayes officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park Prince George, Virginia. The family will receive friends Sunday, November 30, 2014 from 3:00- 4:30 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Esophageal Cancer Awareness Association P.O.
