Clara Procise

Clara B. Procise, 90, of Colonial Heights, passed away on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at Southside Regional Medical Center. Born in Petersburg, she was the daughter of the late Vincent R. Beachy Sr. and Clara Titus Beachy, and the widow of Gordon R. Procise. She was a member of Second Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Procise is survived by a daughter, Marcia P. Whitmore and husband, Horace S. of Colonial Heights; a grandson, Vincent Scott Whitmore and wife, Stacy of Colonial Heights; a granddaughter, Donna L. Tuten of Roanoke; seven great-grandchildren, Erica and Travis Tuten, Ashley, Samantha, Joseph, Reese, and Haley Whitmore. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 28, 2010 in the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard with the Reverend Nancy Clark officiating. Interment will follow in Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday (tonight) at the funeral home.
