Clara Mae Rosser, 90, of Colonial Heights, VA passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, January 6, 2022. Ms. Rosser, a Petersburg native, was the daughter of the late William Henry Rosser, Sr and Lucille Brown Rosser. She was a graduate of Petersburg High School, an active member of Christ and Grace Episcopal Church and an avid supporter of the SPCA of Petersburg & Colonial Heights. She retired from the company she founded, Olde Petersburg Printers, which she ran for over 20 years. Ms. Rosser will be remembered as a woman who was deeply devoted to her family and friends, strong in her faith, a voracious reader, an adventurer at heart, and a diehard University of Virginia fan. She is survived by her sister, Mary Rosser; her nieces and nephews, Kathy Rosser Tierney (Bob), Laurie Rosser Pry (Shawn), and William Rosser III (Tanya); six great nieces and nephews; and six great-great- nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, William Henry Rosser Jr. and Shirley Spain Rosser. A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, January 10, 2022 at Blandford Cemetery 319 S. Crater Road, Petersburg, VA 23803 with Reverend John Boucher officiating.
