Clifton Bishop

Clifton Andrew "Bubba" Bishop Jr., 57, of Colonial Heights, died on Friday, March 9, 2012 at Southside Regional Medical Center, Petersburg. He was the son of the late Clifton Andrew Bishop Sr. Mr. Bishop was a retired machine operator for Phillip Morris Tobacco Co. He is survived by his wife; Betty C. Bishop; two sons, Clifton A. Bishop III and wife, Becky of Chester, Christopher Shaun Bishop of Colonial Heights; two grandchildren, Clifton A. "Drew" Bishop IV, and Mallory N. Bishop. His mother, Virginia Frank Bishop of Sutherland, Virginia; two sisters, Judith Riker and husband, Rick of Bracey, Virginia, and Kathy Comer and husband, Eddie of Church Road, Virginia; three brothers, Terry Bishop and wife, Linda of Ohio, Timmy Bishop of Sutherland, Virginia and Jamie Bishop and wife, Page of Church Road, Virginia, and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held, Monday, March 12, 2012 at 11:00am at Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George, Virginia with the Rev. Jonathan Waits officiating. The family will receive friends, Sunday afternoon from 3-4:30pm at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
