Connie Lee Crotts, 61, of Caroline County passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at St. Mary's Hospital. Born on June 9, 1955 in Jacksonville, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late William and Ruby Lee. She was a founding member of Appomattox Baptist Church, now Walthall Baptist Church, and has been a lifetime member of the Bensley Ladies Auxillary. Connie enjoyed fishing, gardening and cooking, but most of all she cherished the time she had with her family. She is survived by her loving husband, Jimmy Lee Crotts; son, Jimmy Crotts, Jr. and wife, Rebekah; daughters, Jennifer L. Crotts, Grace Patman and husband, Clint, Lenora E. Davidson and husband, Heath; grandchildren, Violet, Jordan, Brooklynn, Camellia, Lilly, Hayden, Wyatt and Clinton II; sisters, Britt, Gail, Brenda, Patricia and Pam; and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June, 22, 2016 at Bermuda Memorial Park, 1901 Bermuda Hundred Road, Chester, Virginia 23831, with the Reverend George Schutte officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday night, June 21, 2016 from 6-8:30 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard.
