Cornelia Eblin

Cornelia M. "Neal" Eblin, 86 of Colonial Heights, passed away at Colonial Heights Healthcare and Rehab on Wednesday, March 29, 2017. Born in Raleigh County, WVA, she was the daughter of the late James A. and Myrtle Hartley. Mrs. Eblin was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Charles E. Eblin, 2 brothers, James and Lloyd Hartley, sister, Martha Cullins, son, Mervin R. Walker and grandson, Scott Walker. She is survived by her daughter Lisa Eblin Smith and husband Patrick, son, Roger Dickerson and wife Janet, daughter-in-law, Joanne Walker, grandchildren, Emily Smith, P.W. Smith, Mattie Smith and David Walker; great grandson, Joey Walker, 2 nieces, Jackie Delvecchio and Debbie Crowder, special friend Bonnie Cheshewalla and other relatives. Neal loved to crochet and created many beautiful things. She also loved dogs, Elvis, Pepsi, SWEETS, country music and caring for children; which she did for many years of her life. Neal adored her grandchildren and loved spending time with them and her family. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 22, 2017 at The Heights Baptist Church, 17201 Jefferson Davis Highway, Colonial Heights, VA 23834 with the Reverend Mike Osborne officiating.
